8 Simple Criteria
If
you do not meet the following criteria for reduced pricing,

The home you would like us to inspect was built after 1960.
The home you would like us to inspect is not a foreclosed upon property,
nor is it being sold "as-is".
If the property you are purchasing is in a multi-unit dwelling, you are
only purchasing one of those units.
The property you are purchasing is not currently occupied by renters. If
the property is vacated, it must be free of personal possessions and
debris, allowing for a thorough inspection.
The property you are purchasing is not larger than 3,000 finished square
feet. Inspection Prices are Shown Below
You are able to have your inspection performed at a time of day agreeable to
you, including evenings,
Monday through Thursday. Our inspections typically take 2-3 hours to
complete, and our scheduling process is fast & easy. You are welcomed and
encouraged to attend the entire inspection. If not attending the entire inspection, you
agree to be there for at least the last 45 minutes, giving your inspector
time to go over the findings with you in person.
You understand that this is in your best interest, giving you the most
benefit out of your inspection.
You agree to pay for the inspection one of 3 ways, and your total price
will be the exact amount shown below, according to your proper
category, which is based upon total finished square feet:
1. Cash, paid at the Inspection,
or...
2. A United States Postal Service Money Order made out to
our parent company, Discovery Home Inspections, paid at the
Inspection. (They only cost $0.95), or...
3. By Major Credit Card at least 2 hours
prior to the inspection

Single Family Homes
Up to 1000 sq. ft...............$220
1001 to 2000 sq. ft............$230
2001 to 3000 sq. ft............$240
Condominiums
any size up to 2000 fin. sq. ft., interior of
unit only.......$195
Town Homes
any size up to 2000 fin. sq. ft., interior of unit only.......$210
Interior of unit only
inspections exclude:
the grounds, roof, exterior, attic (unless it's
accessible from inside the unit itself), common/shared areas in building
(unless easily accessible and they contain your unit's furnace or boiler,
water heater, main electrical panel, and laundry facilities),
detached garages and shared parking facilities. The interior of attached
garages that are not shared will be inspected.
